High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)

A method for analysis of Homocysteine utilising HPLC is in development in conjunction with staff of University Hospital of Wales, Medical Biochemistry Department. Traceability will be ensured by the use of the new homocysteine material, SRM 1955.

Method development is also underway for a microalbumin assay.

HPLC is also utilised in the cleanup procedure for some of the GCMS assays.
