WEQAS Accreditation

We are pleased to announce our WEQAS EQA organisation has been recommended by UKAS for accreditation for compliance with conformity assessment - General requirements for proficiency testing (ISO/CASCO 17043:2010). Our WEQAS Reference Laboratory has also been recommended for accreditation of Medical Reference Laboratories against ISO 15195 in combination with ISO/IEC 17025:2005, we are extremely proud of our Reference Laboratory, as this will be the only laboratory in the UK to have achieved this status.

April 2012 to March 2013 Enrolment

WEQAS has frozen prices.  Discounted General Chemistry EQA Package and Blood Gas EQA scheme available at the 2011 price. Discounted General Chemistry EQA package includes Mainline Chemistry, Lipids, Bilirubin and Salicylate and Paracetamol. Blood Gas EQA scheme offers one complete set of samples free of charge to every laboratory registered for ten sample sets. 

User Group 2012

The 2012 WEQAS User Group Meeting and Scientific Seminar is to be hosted at the Cardiff Hilton Hotel on 5th and 6th December.  We wish to thank our participants who attended our 2011 User Group Meeting and contributed to making this event an enjoyable experience for all.

Focus 2012

We would like to thank everyone who attended Focus and visited us at Stand 34 at the BT Convention Centre, ACC Liverpool, 30th April to 3rd May.

User Group Meeting and Seminar 2012

The 2012 WEQAS User Group Meeting & Seminar will be held at the Hilton Hotel, Central Cardiff on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th of December. The provisional programme will be released later in the year. Both the programme and registration form will be available to download from the WEQAS website.
